Plain answers about fees, the Versys fuel card program, funding, controls, reporting, and support.1

Fees

One flat fee for each completed fuel purchase at the pump. The details are below.

Are there any fees?

For normal card use, the only Versys fee is a flat $1.25 transaction fee for each completed fuel purchase at the pump. There are no monthly fees, setup fees, subscription fees, or per-card fees. Exceptional events such as returned payments are governed by your program terms.

The savings estimator on the homepage shows estimates before transaction fees.

The program

What Versys provides, who it is for, and what comes with the card.

What does Versys provide?

Versys Technologies Inc. provides two integrated services to United States trucking carriers and fleets: a prefunded commercial fuel card program and a transportation management system that is included with the card program at no additional cost for qualifying customers. A desktop portal brings balances, cards, drivers, transactions, rebates, and savings together, and the Versys app is coming soon.

Who is the program for?

United States trucking carriers and fleets, from owner-operators and small carriers to growing fleets and large operations. Versys can tailor a fuel card program to your operation and fleet size. Approval and program terms apply.1

Is the TMS included?

Yes. A complete transportation management system is included with the Versys card program at no additional cost for qualifying customers. Fuel card transaction fees still apply.1

Funding and cards

How the prefunded card works, where it is accepted, and the controls you have.

How does the prefunded card work?

Versys runs the fuel card program on a prefunded basis. You fund a balance in advance by ACH, wire, or Zelle, or with eligible Comdata® Express Codes and EFS MoneyCodes®, and Versys applies those funds to purchases made with your cards. The Versys card can be used only for diesel fuel, reefer diesel, and diesel exhaust fluid (DEF). Funds are loaded to a card only after the funding has settled, and funding limits are based on the number of cards on your account.

The prefunded balance is held for your fuel purchases. It is not a deposit account and does not earn interest.

Where can I use the card?

At participating fueling and truck-stop locations on the card's fuel network, for diesel fuel, reefer diesel, and diesel exhaust fluid (DEF). Acceptance and controls depend on issuer and network capabilities.2

How do the displayed discounts work?

Versys determines the discount, if any, available to you at each participating location and displays it in the platform. Discounts can change daily, can vary by location and by customer, and can be zero. The discount shown as available to you at the time of the transaction is the one that applies, and you choose in the platform whether an earned discount is credited to the card that was used or to your balance.

Receipts printed at the pump show the retail price, so the transaction record in the platform is the controlling record. Savings are not guaranteed.3

How do I add funds?

By ACH debit that you initiate in the platform from a linked bank account, by wire transfer, or by Zelle. Versys also accepts eligible Comdata® Express Codes and EFS MoneyCodes® for account funding. All codes are subject to authorization and verification. You choose when to fund and how much, within the funding limits for your account.

Can I move funds between cards?

Yes. From the desktop portal you can move funds between the cards in your fleet, so the right card has the right balance before a fill.

What card and PIN controls do I have?

You can manage driver cards and reset PINs from the desktop portal. Driver card and PIN management is also part of the Versys app, which is coming soon. Card controls depend on issuer and network capabilities.2

What alerts and notifications will I get?

The portal gives you clear alerts for declines, transfers, and potential fraud, so small issues stay small. Notifications in the Versys app are coming soon.

Reporting and what is coming

IFTA reporting support today, the app and ELD integration next.

Does Versys help with IFTA reporting?

The portal's fuel-by-state report shows quarterly diesel gallons purchased and state fuel tax totals by state for purchases made through the program, and you can export that data to support your IFTA reporting workflow. Versys does not prepare or file IFTA returns, provide tax or legal advice, or guarantee compliance.

Is there a mobile app?

The Versys app is coming soon. It is designed to let you find fuel, fund your wallet, move funds between cards in your fleet, manage driver cards and PINs, receive notifications, review activity, and track savings from one app.

Does Versys connect to my ELD?

ELD integration is coming soon.
